Pastoral Care
Our Work
The Pastoral Care Office at Hope House meets a variety of needs. The weekly Spirituality Support Group helps those seeking answers to some of the deeper
questions in their lives. This is an opportunity for clients to gain a clearer understanding of their own spirituality and share this experience with others.
It is our desire that the Pastoral Care Services be available to the whole person. This office seeks to promote the growth and development of the client's body, mind
and spirit. All services are available to affected children, family members, close friends and loved ones are encouraged to participate.
One-on-One Sessions
One-on-One Sessions in a non-denominational manner are available to those seeking non-clinical individual direction and guidance. These spiritual counseling
sessions are available for all clients and affected family members.
Celebrations of Life
Celebrations of Life memorial services are held throughout the year with family, clients and friends of those who have died in the struggle against HIV/AIDS.
Life Integration Retreat
One of the highlights of the year for the community at The AIDS Center is the Life Integration Retreat now being held twice a year. Time away from home, natural
beauty and a peaceful environment, opportunities for prayer and input from motivational speakers and workshop presenters, socializing with old friends and new, all
make for a much sought after respite for body, mind and spirit.
